The Home Dynamix team shops the world for wonderfully-designed merchandise and partners with diverse manufacturers to provide the quality and unique products seen in stores, such as Home Depot, Sam’s Club, Bed Bath & Beyond, HomeGoods and MarMaxx.
Problem:Home Dynamix had a large suite of products. Many of the interfaces had been designed independently or updated in a fragmented fashion. The user interface and user experience of the old platform was in desperate need of a consistent, modern update. More over they didn't used their ERP for automations within their website.
Solution:Studio X together with the clients ERP consultants tried to work out together in order to change technically how each product card in the clients ERP works so the ERP could send the website the needed assets for images, text, counts, etc. Unfortunately the client has required their ERP some time before even thinking of a new website and possibilities of information exchange between the two systems was limited. As far as the range of products was incredibly big, we made a new structure for the website so to organize their portfolio, furthermore we create a three steps filter on the home page from where the end user could search by divisions, categories and collections.
Results: The result is a new responsive website with outstanding design elements that none of the competitors had at the time of the release. Many new clients and a lot of visitors were observed in the first few months of the launch. The client was happy of the result and the work of Studio X. The new dealers love the new approach of an online form for submission to became a dealer (previously hold on pdf and mail exchange).
