Agency: Studio XIntroduction: First Investment Bank (Fibank) is the biggest bank with Bulgarian capital which is developing and strengthening its position as a financial group with main business in the Republic of Bulgaria and regional presence through foreign operations in Cyprus and Albania. Fibank is an innovative and customer-oriented credit institution that offers a diverse range of products and services for individual and corporate clients. With experience in corporate banking and broad presence in the market of retail banking, First Investment Bank is among the leading institutions in the country in card business and international payments.
Problem:The initial contract is signed for the redesign of their corporate website with Netage. The project was in a stage, where 90% of the requirements were clear, Back-end functionalities were on 80% with some tasks on WiP, graphic Design Templates were on 50 % approved and Front-end was not yet started. There was a need of Home Page and Product Page design refinements as well as discussing Responsive approach since the initial ideas were around separate mobile version. At this stage of the project, Studio X was contacted. Due to its discontinued activities Netage delegate the rest of the work. As everyone knows such turnaround is not likable by any stakeholder. We had few meetings between both agencies and the client. The required deadlines remind mostly the same and just few weeks were given as in advance for the transition.
Solution:The first step was to adapt to the framework of Netage. Second was to read and understand the scope as well as the already built functionalities. The design team read the requirements and talked to the both agencies developers so we could start the Design refinements. Once we did the design based on all prototypes we turn to the HTML. The typical waterfall model was far-away in this project. The expected chaos elements were prevented within the continues and great support of Netage and the client. Studio X has made the expected to finish the project thankfully to its team dedication and domain expertise. We have made a custom tailored CMS with all expected functionalities for the release and we continue developing on phase two as to create even more useful tools based on the feedback of the consumers.
Results: As a result the client received a new and modern corporate website that fulfill one of the major business requirments to be easily distinguished from its competitors, to be modern and delightful for its consumers. Users were happy with the new site and the new navigation structure we created. Based on the usability tests made by Lucrat the website it's gaining more users and new clients now. We also got the best price for all interested teams on the Bulgarian Web Association annual award festival.
